The keyboard is very well put together, and having the legends not printed on the top of the keys, but rather on the side of them is actually both useful and pretty “cool” looking.
One thing this product description cannot inform you about though is how amazing it sounds to type with this keyboard. Each keystroke sounds fantastic, the Cherry MX Browns giving enough tactile feedback but with a quieter click than other keyswitches like Red or Blues. It also does not mention just how the keys offer just the right level of resistance, meaning you will never miss a key.
Because this is the Ninja version, they key symbols are printed on the front side, and to be honest I don’t understand why they aren’t like this all the time! It’s great because the keys feel nice and soft, so your fingers can move around without feeling any rough edges, and the symbols and letters will never fade (especially on WASD keys).
However the real joy of this keyboard has been how little I notice it is there. That might sound strange, I mean why would I spend so much on something I don’t even notice? Well my job requires me to get my thoughts into the computer as quickly as possible, and the keyboard has always been the device to do that. A keyboard that gets in your way and slows down this process is only going to be a negative thing. However the Filco Ninja Majestouch-2 Full Size Tactile Action UK Keyboard gives you an almost seamless connection between brain and computer, which to me makes this an invaluable piece of equipment.
This one has to get a 4.5/5 rating for me. It might be expensive, but I think it’s worth every penny.
