Description

The Ferris Sweep kit is a variation of the Ferris split keyboard by Pierre Chevalier. The Ferris Sweep has a unique design that allows it to be built using no components other than a controller and TRRS jacks, making it an incredibly simple build. There are two version available depending on what switches and keycaps you wish to use. The Choc variant has Choc keycap spacing and is not suitable for use with MX switches and keycaps. The MX AND Choc variant has options for both, so while you could use Choc switches in the MX variant, the keycaps would have to have MX spacing. Neither support the V2 Choc switches. If you want more information on this please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kit Contents:

  • PCB
  • FR4 Plate Case
  • TRRS Jacks and Cable
  • Screws/Standoffs & Feet

For a complete kit you will need 2 controllers, 34 switches and keycaps, and a USB cable.

Very good quality kit, although a Build Guide would've been nice. My only comments are that the TRRS cable was a little short for my needs, and the Choc switch key caps weren't available so I sourced those elsewhere. I'm very pleased I chose this UK vendor.

Excellent service

Speedy postage, I had an issue with one of the parts which could well have been caused by user error, the support was excellent and they sorted me out with a replacement free of charge within about a day. Can't recommend them enough and I will be back!

This was my first experience with a split keyboard and I am absolutely loving it. I ordered it with the assembly service and I was very happy that I could just plug in and start using the keyboard. The fact that it had VIA set up already meant that I could customize my key layouts and experiment with them without having to flash the controllers again.

New version is easier to setup(almost no tinkering in zmk). Did mess up nice nano - soldered the other way(as on previous version)
