Sofle V2 MX Hotswap Kit (Pre-Build)

Works well, solid construction. Had some issues flashing and reprogramming it, would suggest info/pointers being provided would be helpful. The guys at mechboards are helpful though. Overall a good ergonomic keyboard at a fair price, am happy with it!

Certainly taking some getting used to as this is my first split board, but I really like it. Its designed so that you don't need to move your hands too much to access all the keys, instead some things like the arrow keys for example are accessed with layers, so your fingers stay on the home row.

Ready to go out of the box, I went with the Gateron Yellows and they are nice and smooth, the included keycaps are nice too. Works perfectly with my Fedora Linux system set to the US layout.

Nicely built and literally plug and play. The difference coming from an ancient qpad with knackered cherry blacks to this with yellows is night and day. On top of this, when I knocked it off my desk and failed to check the trrs cable was still fully in before powering back on, mb replaced the fried microcontrollers and only charged for the parts and postage.

The build quality is excellent. Solder work is professional. Shipping was fast. Overall, I am a very happy customer!

I have bought this keyboard with brown switches.

It arrived with yellow switches so I contacted customer service to have brown switches replacement instead. They responded quickly sent me the replacement switches.

Although there are a few loose screws which needed tighten up and the firmware was not straightforward to flash on for pi micro controller (a tutorial would be nice), it is a great keyboard and switches to be my daily driver..
