UPDATE: The US release date for the K70 has been announced as the 8th of September. There is no UK release date but the Corsair website states that the UK price will be £169.99 so we can assume it will be available on the same date or at least very close to it. However, from what we can see this keyboard is currently only available with an ANSI layout right now. There seems to be no information on any upcoming ISO(UK) layouts for the keyboard. We will update you as we know more.

We originally posted about the Corsair RGB keyboards back when they were demoed at CES 2014, and after a long wait we finally have some information about their price and when they’ll be available. The two models were shown off considerably and made headlines around the tech/gadget blogs for quite some time.

The two models boasted specifically designed Cherry MX RGB keyswitches, in partnership with Corsair. The RGB keyswitches are able to display 16.8 million color lighting options and through a powerful editing software, profiles can be loaded to specifically light up (or dim) user-designated keys. We’re not sure on the expansive nature of this, but it’s safe to assume a user can have at least 10 different profiles, each lighting the keys in different colours, different intensities, or if they are on at all.

The K70 RGB is much like the already popular Vengeance K70, with an anodized, brushed aluminium chassis, dedicated media keys, and a detachable wrist-rest. Similarly, the K95 still includes programmable macro keys to the left hand-side of the keyboard.
