09/09/25
Hey everyone, time for the first of 3 big and final announcements! We've now had conformation that the PCBs, carry cases, keycaps, switches and stabilisers are on the way to us via train!
The train officially left the station yesterday, so hopefully it'll all be with us in the next 3-4 weeks.Steel cases are about to head into production, these are manufactured in the UK, so we're hoping to have the first batch in around 3 weeks.
The second and hopefully penultimate update will be given once they're finished and on the way to us!The final final update will be once it's all with us and we're beginning shipping, it's looking like this will be at the end of this month/the beginning of next!
Dave is currently on holiday for the week, but once he's back he should soon be in contact regarding the plaques.
Me and George are now about to start putting together a build guide video, so that may well be released by the end of the month tooAs always, thank you for your patience, let me know if there's any questions I can help with, and I'll do my best to answer!

- 29/09/25 We're running a little behind, but for good reason.
The case and PCB design for the Kailh switch version is now locked in and can be ordered whenever we're ready. So, why the delay?
As mentioned previously, these Kailh switches are quite fragile. On top of that, we've encountered a few issues during production where one or two switches needed replacing during testing. While reworking the boards is something we can do, and will if required, we wanted to explore other options first.
So we spun a Cherry ULP variant, which has been ordered and we're eagerly waiting for it to arrive before making any final decisions. From our initial testing on an OEM Cherry board, these switches seem to be more robust. We're hopeful they'll result in a better product than the current Kailh offering. There's no need for any case design changes to accommodate these switches either, so the transition is pretty seamless.
We'll post another update once the Cherry ULP version arrives and we've decided on the direction we're taking.

Shame we didn't do a role for pings but hopefully it'll get seen.
