DDC Choc (v1) PBT Blank Keycaps
Description
DDC can be considered a trial product. If the profile is well received, we intend to expand the offering to include mod, thumb and space keys, as well as legends if demand exists.
DDC is injection molded out of premium PBT plastic, so they are very resistant to the wear and "shining" caused by many hours of typing.
Note: DDC keycaps are "choc spaced" meaning they do not share the same outer dimensions of a typical Cherry MX keycap. The switch spacing should ideally be 17(h)x18(w) on your keyboard. Choc spaced keycaps will fit on a traditional MX spaced keyboard, but the gaps between the keycaps will not be uniform.

This cylindrical keycaps are much more comfortable to type on, especially compared to the MBK ones, which are much flatter.
High quality, nice feel and much quieter than MBK profile keycaps when paired with lowprokb Ambients Nocturnal switches. I also prefer the shape of the DDC caps to MBK profile, which is much flatter. DDC feels more like traditional (high pro) keys, even though it is still low profile. Very pleased with them.
Bought these DDC caps on a whim and compared them with the usual MBK and also CFX PBT. On light linear switches the sound is similar to MBK and nicer than CFX which has an annoying tappy tap sound. Feel is the best of the 3, with fingertips resting nicely in the concave shape, perhaps because I'm so used to MX Cherry. Surprisingly they are the lowest profile of the 3 as well. So, turned out to be a good buy!
Nice texture and the shape makes for slightly easier movement on a columnar board. Shipping and packaging was excellent and very fast.
