Plaid Kit

Final result is great, but this was pretty tricky to complete. You dont get the LEDs or tactile switches in the kit. After soldering I scratched my head for about a week before discovering that my USB cable had plus and minus mixed round. Delivery from Mechboards was quick and easy. Happy with result but not for the faint hearted.

Fun kit. Instructions are a bit challenging if you don't know your way around the firmware/software side, but the physical build is easy (took me about 2-3hrs across 2 days).

Definitely check your BOM, as I received an incorrect number of diodes, no nuts for the screws, and a bunch of different sizes spacers. I had the parts to complete the kit on hand, but be aware that the inventory may not be accurate
