Gateron Red switches are a soft linear switch with a low actuation force. Designed with gamers and fast typists in mind, the Gateron Red switch has a very light actuation force of 45g, providing only minimal resistance for keypresses. As a linear switch they can also be lubricated to provide an incredibly smooth typing experience.
