Lily58 Pre-Build

Bought this as I wanted the low profile as I thought it could be the barrier to entry from my current lily58 which has mx blues, and converting to choc switches, keycaps, desoldering and soldering on the new switches would have cost me more time and money then I was willing to give.

Needless to say, the build quality is insane, is literal plug and play, and didn't realise that it had full blown rgb background and per key lighting as well!

Carry case it came with was also a bonus!

Now just to learn how to use the thing!

Works great even on linux, only would wish for better quality keycaps and maybe support for nordic letters etc. Great choice for someone like me with no acces to a soldering station.

I love it. I had a couple of issues at the outset using usevia.app and spent a whole day flashing the firmware and coming unstuck because QMK doesn't support the lily58 with RP2040 ProMicros and ZMK doesn't support split wired keyboards.

Embarrassingly it turned out to be a layer 8 issues. The issue with usevia.app was because of permissions on linux. Arch btw...after managing to roll back to the original firmware I contacted support and their response was rather quick.

The build quality is ace. This is my first split keyboard and its taking some getting used to but a cracking experience in all. Spot on stuff guys. Thank you.
