Sometimes referred to as the “milk switch”, which switch is very similar to the Cherry MX Green switch in terms of both tactility and actuation force. However, they have been described as slightly quieter.
The Cherry MX White is very similar to the Cherry MX Green switch, both sharing the same actuation force (80g), tactile feeling, and clicky feedback. Where the two differ lie in the sound profile, with the Cherry MX White having a slightly more subdued sound profile. These are sometimes referred to as “milk” switches in Asia, where the Cherry MX Clear switch takes the name of “White”. These switches are rated for more than 50M keystrokes, and have a plate mounting system with 3 pins.
